A practical checklist for bulk ad publishing

Review account access, creative versions, destinations and execution results before a batch of ads becomes difficult to trace.

The key idea

Review accounts, assets, destinations and timing before submitting a batch. After submission, check task results and platform delivery separately. Those two checkpoints help identify where a problem occurred.

Define the batch before filling in the form

A batch can combine several accounts, creative assets and ad variants. Start with an explicit list of target accounts, markets, asset versions and the person responsible for approval. A single total does not describe the intended combinations.

For example, two assets across three accounts gives six planned combinations. This is a planning example, not a guarantee that six ads will be created: check how the chosen template splits the work and compare it with the submission preview.

  • Record the target accounts and the access granted for each one.
  • Confirm campaign and ad-set ownership, retaining names that have already been approved.
  • Agree on the reviewer, authorized operator and intended execution time.

Review the asset and destination as one unit

The correct video thumbnail does not prove that the ad is correct. Check the file version, copy language, destination and tracking parameters for each variant. Copied batches deserve particular attention because old values can survive in a new plan.

Inspect the complete destination URL and the page it resolves to, rather than checking only the domain. If a link depends on a business association, confirm that the selected asset belongs to the intended object. Resolve unexplained mappings before proceeding.

  • Preview the selected file and confirm language, content and applicable usage permission.
  • Check that the copy, call to action and destination describe the same offer.
  • Preserve existing tracking parameters and explain any intentional changes.

Separate input problems from waiting states

Missing access, mismatched destinations and incomplete assets call for changes to permissions or inputs. A queued or scheduled task calls for a timing check. The absence of a success label is not enough reason to submit everything again.

When several people work on a batch, hand over the task record: the issue found, the change made, the owner and the condition for the next check. This helps prevent one person repairing access while another recreates the batch.

Verify platform results after submission

Treat submission, task completion and actual delivery as separate questions. Keep the task reference and returned ad identifiers so that an operation can be traced to its platform objects.

If a batch is only partly complete, list successful, failed and unresolved items. Inspect the existing objects before deciding how to recover the remainder. Repeating the entire batch can duplicate items that already succeeded.

  • Compare planned work with the objects returned.
  • Check the platform status and its last refresh time.
  • Record outstanding items and the reason each still needs attention.

Frequently asked questions

Should I recreate the batch if one account lacks access?

Identify the affected items and check whether other items already exist. Restore access and address unfinished work without recreating successful objects.

Does a successful task mean the ad has impressions?

A task result describes execution. Check the corresponding platform status and report, including the refresh time, to establish whether delivery occurred.
